Ultrasafe Complete Copper Box Project

Here at Ultrasafe, we have completed the design and installation of a cutting-edge Category 3 fire sprinkler system at Liverpool’s Copper Box project. This system adheres to the latest British Standard, BS 9251: 2021, setting out design, installation and testing requirements for these mains-fed residential fire sprinklers. 

Copper Box based in Crosby is a luxury refurbishment project of a former office building made up of 27 apartments by property group IPG. Ultrasafe worked in close partnership with IPG to ensure optimal project delivery.

The installation, spanning July to December 2023, features 4 strategically placed sprinkler systems totalling 224 heads for maximum coverage, aligning with the CAT 3 risk category. With each head covering a maximum area of 18.97 m2. Our dedication to safety is underscored by the use of CPVC Blazemaster pipe work, known for its durability.
