At Ultrasafe Fire Suppression, our priority is to ensure your safety by keeping the systems we service up to standard and following all current safety regulations. The cylinders on your premises require a Ten Year compulsory Hydrostatic Stretch and Pressure Test. This test applies to all pressure vessels over 0.5Bar. The operating pressures for the cylinders on your premises is 12 Bar.

Besides a pressure stretch test to 1.5 x operating pressure, it also involves removing old components and replacing them with newer Fire Sprinkler components that improves the reliability in line with current fire safety regulations.
How does Ultrasafe propose to pressure test my existing system?
The process begins with a detailed survey of your existing system. Ultrasafe ‘s experienced teams will conduct the work following approved site risk assessments and method statements (available on demand). The cylinders will be removed from site to a safe testing environment where they will be tested to 1.5 x operating pressure for 1 hour. Upon a successful test, the cylinders will be reinstated and recommissioned to BS9251.
How much will the re certification of the Cylinders cost?
After the survey, Ultrasafe will provide the most cost-efficient comprehensive quote for conducting the 10 year tests.
How long will the works take?
Most installations are completed within 1 working day, though this may vary depending on the quantity of cylinders on site.
